Privacy policy

This page explains what Africa Energy Intel (“AEI”) collects when you sign up, subscribe, submit a form on the site, or call the API, and what happens to it.

What we collect

• Email address, and optionally your name, when you sign up or subscribe.
• Subscription and payment status (active, tier, renewal date) from Paystack. We never see or store your card number, Paystack handles all card data directly.
• Access-token usage (which token, last used time) so we can enforce active subscriptions and API rate limits.

How it is used

To run your account (sign in, entitlements, access token), to respond to requests, and to contact you about your subscription or the product. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it is stored

Account and subscription data is stored with Supabase (database). Payments are processed by Paystack; AEI holds no card details at all. Both are established infrastructure providers used under their own security and privacy terms.

Your choices

You can review your account details any time from /account. To request a copy of your data or to have it deleted, email felixkeuya@gmail.com, we will action deletion requests within a reasonable time once any active subscription is settled.

Cookies and sessions

Signing in sets a single cookie holding your access token, so you stay signed in between visits. No third party advertising or tracking cookies are set by AEI.
